Volunteers

Trillium Valley Day Camp is run entirely by volunteers, and the number of campers that we can enroll at camp is directly determined by our number of adult volunteers - with every two adults we can take 12 - 16 campers off the waiting list and move them into units. That’s why we encourage not just moms and dads to volunteer, but also aunts, uncles, grandparents, siblings over age 18, neighbors, family friends...all are welcome!

Full time volunteers (those who commit to all five days of camp) ensure their child(ren) and a buddy a spot at camp. In addition, full week, all-day volunteers receive a $25 discount on one camper, PAIT, PA, or Tag-a-long.

Tag-a-longs

We have a special unit for the potty trained children of our adult volunteers (preschool girls and all aged boys). Tag-a-longs have their own unit leaders and participate in all camp activities except badge earning. Tags may only come to camp on the days that their parent volunteers.

How to Volunteer

For the safety of our campers, all volunteers must register with Girl Scouts (and pay the $25 membership dues), undergo a background check (good for three years) and complete two online trainings: GSOSW Foundations and GSOSW Mandatory Reporter Training for Volunteers.  To register for camp click the link on our Registration page. If you are not already registered with Girl Scouts click below to register and complete volunteer training.

If you have questions or need assistance in registering, please contact us at trilliumvalleycamp@gmail.com
